The NTEA Work Truck Show is North America’s largest work truck event, giving attendees a once-a-year opportunity to see the latest industry products. For companies like Volta, it’s an opportunity to showcase our new partnerships and field questions from key decision makers in the trucking industry.
Our team traveled to Indianapolis for the show last week. Volta, along with our business partners Hiab and Waltco, unveiled what the Volta System can do. With a Volta system, the liftgates perform over 80 lifts on a single charge, lowering idle time and carbon emissions to meet anti-idle regulations.
“We enjoyed traveling to Indianapolis to teach more people about how our no-idle system can save them money and reduce emissions,” said Jack Johnson, co-founder of Volta Power Systems.
Our system creates enough energy to lift up to four times faster using a lighter, smaller system and less fuel overall. The system lasts the life of the truck and decreases downtime, requiring less maintenance and saving money otherwise spent on replacement batteries.
The next work truck event for Volta includes a trip to Atlanta for the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition March 18-21.
